A restaurant renovation that prioritised sustainability, functionality, and well-being, transforming the space with a design that integrated natural elements and enhanced ambiance. To improve comfort, new flooring and decorative window graphics were installed to reduce glare from south-facing sunlight. Recycled timber was used to craft purpose-built seating, complemented by strategically placed greenery, reinforcing the connection to nature. Bespoke acoustic panels, plants, and soft furnishings minimised noise, significantly enhancing the overall acoustics of the space.

Aligning with the project’s low-impact design goals, unneeded furniture was donated to local charities, ensuring a responsible, community-focused approach. Every element was carefully considered to create a welcoming and adaptable setting, establishing the Arts Café as a dynamic space for work, dining, and relaxation.
